In Poland the IELTS exam fee and dates are published by the provider that runs your session, such as the British Council or IDP, and the ielts.org list of centres points you to them city by city. The exam fee and dates are on the provider's page, so check it just before you book.

Price: PLN 134.23 for a 60-minute one-to-one lesson; PLN 37.29 for the paid 30-minute trial. Amounts use the same price tiers as the booking page, in your local currency at exchange rates set on 6 October 2026. The booking page shows the exact amount before you pay, and PayPal charges the US-dollar equivalent (USD 34.66 for a 60-minute lesson).

You can also choose a 2-hour lesson on the booking page; the price is shown there before you pay.

This page shows where candidates in Poland can read the current IELTS exam fee and session dates, and what affects the fee line. Both change, so the provider's own page is the place to read them. Mike teaches IELTS one-to-one, live on Google Meet, in English.

Why the exam fee and dates are on the provider's page

People in Poland often search for the IELTS price and the next date. Those two things change, and a figure copied into a guide soon goes out of date. So the exam fee and the test dates are left to the provider's own page. This guide tells you where the official figure lives and what to look for when you get there.

Two different prices exist: the exam fee, which is paid to the test provider, and the fee for lessons with Mike, which is shown separately on this site. This page is about the exam fee only.

Step by step: where to look

  1. Open the ielts.org list of test centres in Poland. At the time of checking it named Gdańsk, Katowice, Kraków, Lublin, Poznań, Szczecin, Warsaw and Wrocław.
  2. Choose the centre and read which provider the entry names. Some cities list more than one venue, and the listing marks details such as whether a centre is UKVI approved.
  3. Open that provider's page for your centre. The fee and the session dates are shown there, for the test you choose.
  4. Read the booking terms before you pay, especially what happens if you need to move or cancel.

The IDP Poland test dates page lists sessions per centre through a "View test sessions" link and can show only One Skill Retake centres. It does not print fees itself; it sends readers to the dedicated test centre pages for updated fees. At the time of checking it showed one centre in Warsaw, so look again when you are ready to book.

What changes the fee line

What you chooseWhy the fee can differ
Academic or General TrainingEach test has its own line on the provider's page
Computer or paper formatIDP says you can choose between them at the centre closest to you; check which your centre offers
IELTS for UKVISeparate test with separate terms; the ielts.org listing marks UKVI approved centres
IELTS OnlineThe ielts.org listing shows it as an Academic test, with its own booking entry; check the provider page for details
One Skill RetakeHas its own rules; IDP offers a filter for centres that offer it

For a fuller view of each city, see IELTS test centres in Poland and IELTS in Warsaw. Details of the online option are on IELTS Online in Poland, and the UKVI test is covered on IELTS for UKVI in Poland.

Dates: what to expect

  • Sessions are listed per centre by the provider, not centrally by this site.
  • The dates you see depend on the format, the test type and the city.
  • A city can show no sessions for a while and then more later, so one empty search is not a final answer.
  • Booking online needs identification: IDP says you upload a clear copy of your identification document to book. Check the IDP booking checklist.

Moving or cancelling

The rules differ by provider and by test. ielts.org says detailed policies come from your test centre and may vary by location, that UKVI tests follow their own terms, and that a transfer must move to a new date within three months and can only be done once for the same booking (ielts.org policy page). The IDP pages we read describe notice periods in two different ways, so we give none here. Read the current terms on the page of the provider you book with.

The time zone note for lessons

Poland uses Central European Time in winter and Central European Summer Time in summer. Hanoi, where Mike teaches from, stays on one time all year. The gap is therefore 6 hours in winter and 5 hours in summer. The booking calendar shows every slot in your own time zone, so you do not need to calculate it.

How lessons with Mike can help with this

Mike does not sell or register IELTS exams and is not a test centre. Once you have a date from the provider, lessons can fill the weeks before it. They are one-to-one, 60 minutes, live on Google Meet, in English. Mike marks Writing Task 1 and Task 2 against the public band descriptors and runs Speaking Parts 1 to 3 in the real format with feedback in the moment. A paid 30-minute trial is available once per student on the first booking, and rescheduling is at no charge up to 12 hours before the slot. Read about Mike or go to the booking page. The lesson price for Poland is shown in the box on this page and again before you pay.

Common questions

How much does the IELTS exam cost in Poland?

The exam fee changes and differs by test, so read it on the page of the provider that runs your centre, reached through the ielts.org list of centres in Poland.

Where can I see IELTS dates in Poland?

On the provider's page for your centre. IDP Poland lists sessions per centre under "View test sessions"; other providers' sessions are reached from the same ielts.org centre list.

Is the fee the same for Academic and General Training?

Do not assume so. Providers show a line for each test, so read the one for the test you need on the day you book.

Does Mike set or collect the exam fee?

No. Mike does not register candidates or set exam fees. You pay the exam fee to the test provider; lessons with Mike are paid separately on the booking page.

What if my city shows no dates?

Check the neighbouring cities on the ielts.org list and come back later, because sessions are added over time. IELTS Online is another entry on the same listing, shown there as an Academic test.

Can I move my test date?

Usually yes within limits, but the rules depend on the provider and the test. ielts.org says to check your test centre's terms, and UKVI tests have separate terms.

How do I pay for lessons with Mike?

By PayPal, which also takes cards, with the US-dollar equivalent charged. The exact amount is shown on the booking page before payment.
